Following the sudden death of his
father in a bee-related accident, Cambridge astro-physicist Felix Humble is
forced home to face a discordant hive in which his overbearing mother is
consoling herself in the arms of another and his own past is about to catch up
with him. Can his search for a unified theory of the cosmos help him to bring
unity to the various strands of his life and see him finally learn to
fly?
Humble Boy was first performed at the National Theatre in 2001 and
was a winner of a number of awards for best new play.
Come and enjoy
this poignant comedy in Cuffley's comfortable and modern Village Hall. Except
